§          Regional outreach - huge impact to strengthening links between the regions (regional libraries, increasing their awareness about the WB activities and possibilities the WB opens);

§         Motivation – raise motivation for our PICs, regional and depository libraries to feel the part of a unique organization, by setting out new incentives, see how others tackle the same problems;

§          Networking - creation of the regional network of professionals working for the World Bank public information program – librarians + PIAs; creation of the mailing list at Googlegroups for this network (http://groups.google.com/group/CA-PICnetwork with group email );

§          Possibility to Increase Outreach – it is possible to increase the number of regional and depository libraries, but for that one needs to participate at the regional and international conferences of library workers and others to explore the opportunities.

§          Request for increasing number of publications in Russian and local languages (Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Tajik). We need to know – when it is possible to order translation of some WB publications and under what conditions.

§           New impulse to change something to the better, looking at how others can do and how many opportunities the World Bank creates!

§          Evaluation of the WB work – the most fresh, authentic and clear data are from the World Bank. That is why the publications are so valuable!

§           Adding to the capacity building on the national level – participation at such regional events allows for raising professionalism among regional, depository libraries» and PIC»s staff.

§          Proposal – to create a grant facility for libraries on a competitive basis. For instance, PIC competition for the best rural library.
